Silent Angels

I've often heard the stories
That tell of the heavenly choirs
They sing the songs of praises
That God Himself inspires

Ten thousand angel voices
In majestic harmony
Sing about the Love of God
And all His Majesty

But even tho their voices ring
Thru out that golden shore
It can't compare to redemption songs
That we'll sing forevermore

For the angels can't sing about the blood
That He shed to set us free
Or sing the songs of sacrifice
That won our victory

They'll never sing of Calvary
Where our Lord was crucified
Or sing the songs of forgiveness
The reason He came and died

So I can't wait til He calls us home
To Him where we belong
For the angels stand in silence
As we praise our King in song
