Silence of the Land

The world
Fast as lightning we seem to go
Losing site of love
Broken hearts counting up so slow

People don't do simple things
Hugs, kiss, go for a walk
Next thing you know
They don't even talk

There are many
Who fight just for love
In living, you will die
At least be happy
When you enter the land above

Don't take for granted
What you think may last
Tell someone you love them
Or your relationship will become the past
