Silence Looms
When you are wrinkled, and old and grey
And resting in your reclined chair
And when silence looms and warms the air
Your troubled thoughts seem fade away
Forgotten memories, long gone, lie black
And loved ones lost along the road
Then, smiles and tears in over-load
When heartfelt memories start to come back
Take off those specs and wipe your tears
That dripped onto your wrinkled face
And stay like dust- that happy place
When you remember thoughts from all your years
