Silence Eternal

Silence this eternal comes with compromise
I’m bleeding but resolved in my own sacrifice
I would fight for anyone that can still realise
We are the cold-undying, but now we see the light

A struggle to believe but yet I still believe
I’m writing and I’m singing, I’m still only me
Creating and defining, so lonely to conceive
But I am the survivor and I will believe

Stillness this unending lets me feel the rain
I know how to rejoice despite the stinging pain
The canvas of my wisdom gives my heart a name
With vision this unending I’ve learnt to drop my blame

A struggle to become but yet I still become
I feel more than most, but strive to feel enough
I will wander down so deep but not forget the sun
And though I’m only the undead, I’ll always overcome

Silence this eternal gives me my own life
I’m bleeding and forgotten but I’ve found my sight
The empathy, the tears and then reflecting light
I would die for absolution now that I know what’s right

Silence so eternal speaking more than me
I silence my own hatred in sincerity
I gaze into the eyes of those that always see
And our silence will determine what will come to be
