Silence and Misery

Silence rings its inaudible bell Stillness stirs its invisible well Your silence to my earnest plea Is stillness in my misery Would your silence to my plea persist? Would you my burning questions resist? Your silence to all my questions Is burning me with misery Let answers ring their audible bell Let actions stir their visible well Your answer to my earnest plea Will put an end to misery

Joanne,, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. It will be my pleasure to follow and read every poem you post from here on :) We are Lucky To Have you. Your New Poet Friend @-> LINDA <-@

Thank you so much for the warm welcome :) I am more than happy to receive constructive criticism on my poems as I am really eager to improve my poetic skills. Feel free to critique my poems! I will certainly read your poems as well and let you know my thoughts on them. I am sure they are terrific although not perfect! Regarding poetic skills, I am trying to incorporate more literary elements like alliteration, assonance, similes, metaphors, anaphora, etc. I would love to receive more guidance on those areas! Thank you so much for being my new poet friend :)

Haha... I had to search for the meaning of 'Bellissimo' online. It means 'very beautiful' in Italian. I like your play on words - 'Bell' and 'Bellissimo' - and your rhymes!
