Silence

I close my eyes as the night falls
I sit in silence
The window is open and I listen as the wind calls
I sit in silence
I close my eyes and hear the whispers of people's souls
I sit in silence
The shadows of the trees darken my room 
I sit in silence
I lie in bed and cover myself with the cold blankets 
as I sleep in silence
