Silence

Quiet mind
silent heart,

Secrets kept
art apart.

All she knew
truth untold,

All she wanted,
one to hold.

Faded tears
from her eyes,

And no one
knew this surprise.

Never fallen
from such
standards,

But she was
left to
falter.

No one came
on her
big day,

Too many,
too busy.

What a shame.

Now she
sits in this
dark
closet,

Only hoping
for you to
open it.
