Silence

Whispering winds
Screaming in my ear
Shouting silent truths
Of things I don’t
Want to hear

Closing my eyes
So I can see
Your beautiful face
Looking through me

Running away
Into the sea
Against the current
It’s easy for you
But not for me

Reaching out
And holding on
Why can’t you see me?
I’m not that strong

Silence is deafening
This is true
Silence is better
For you
and fianlly for me

interesting write with the oft happened ending of silence....and the moral usually is "be careful what you wish for you may get it!" Light & Love

Unrequited love is hard but most of the time it is only the fantasy of love and not true love...However, great expression of those feelings...Keep the creative pen flowing...Sara
