SIJO

When morning gilds the sky it will chase away the night
The darkness will be dispelled by the light of the morning sun
Then the dastardly deeds done by man will be revealed

Thank you so much, Pashang! This is a form of poetry that I had never heard of but found challenging just to attempt a poem that followed the gist. Now, we must await the results of the judging. I appreciate your support.

Thought provoking verse Curtis, thought it was someplace to store grain lol. Never heard of it either. Good luck. Tom

I appreciate this, Tom. Your wit and humor seem to run along much the same line as mine. I decided to 'test the waters' and enter the contest just to see what transpires.

Thank you so kindly, Line! I had never heard of Sijo until tonight. I just decided to try my luck and enter a contest with such a strange form of poetry. We shall see what we shall see!!
