Sign On a Backwoods Road

Hairy spiders do not grill
    steaks on consecutive Tuesdays
  due to alternate-side-residency-
    restrictions in bushes on parkways

  Nevertheless, if seeking opportunities
    to slake cracked-throat-thirst
  Welcome to the Wetlands
    where founts of poetry burst

Too many rules my friend. Move out to the country where you will have peace and land and not to many rules, you might have to put up with a redneck once in while. lol...

Thank you, Kim. Without those last two lines, this poem is about as interesting as watching paint dry, methinks. ~ All Wet

As someone who has to abide by alternate-side-of-the-street parking rules, I really appreciated this poem, Gershon!

This is a good read, and I know there's a sign in there!
