Sign of the Times
Do you not realize
by now
That artistic
expression
has a very slim chance
of
making
you
wealthy
The sunlight which pours
through my window
does bring out the poet in me
The years have come and
gone
and they have not always been kind to us
but if we
continue to create
then we will
laugh once more
breathe in the fresh air of eternity
