Sign of the Times

Noah built an ark
Because God told him to
He said I'm going to flood the world
But only save a few.

The time that Noah built the ark
Was just like the world today
People going about their business
Merrily going along their way.

But God saw things differently
And His heart was filled with pain
The world was corrupt and violent
That's why God sent the rain.

Noah was a righteous man
He obeyed the Lord's command
So he took his family safe in the ark
Before God flooded the land.

As I look at this world today
The times are much the same
Mankind boasting in it's sin
While God's heart is full of pain.

So God warned Noah of the flood
And today is His hearts desire
That everyone should turn to Christ
And escape the judgement fire.

Ronald Bingham June 3, 2009 at 5:30 PM I wouldn't be scared to say the world is probably worse than it was in Noah's days. I know the time is near, too much prophecy has been filled. We are in a downward spiral. Good write, God Bless. Ron
