Shy

Brushing
Air kisses
And water hoses
Misting
Never wetting
Soaking the skin

Blushing
Near misses
And questioning poses
Timid
Incomplete setting
Working without the win

Rush the lush
Outside

And hide the sensitive
Under the bed

So close and yet so for
Always a little...

Such beautiful thoughts on what it means to be shy, Autumn. I'm so glad you came out from "under the bed" long enough to post this great poem! Love, Carolyn
