Shucking Oysters

As I diligently shucked life's oysters Searching thoughts for a pearl in store. Uncovering nothing significant in size Being worthy of remembrance for. Until one day my horizon was dark Threating from my life a slice. From this storm came God's divulgence Of Jesus, the Pearl of great price. Life is our Oyster and we, its shucker's How sad, so few discern the Pearl they seek.

Interesting lines penned and featured on homepage today. I agree so many never find the pearl of great price and give their life to Him. Thanks for sharing it with us. Congratulations on your feature. Sara K
