Shrouds of Light
Come out of the black hole…
Lie face down on the bed…I’ve been bedshaped all night long
Heaviness of my eyelids takes it toll on me
Fly…fly with your top speed…keep your head
Above the surface and take a sip of ecstasy
You’re my only hope
You’re my answers to my countless prayers
Please don’t mope…
Shrouds of light will polish you with no errors
I wish people wouldn’t judge you by first appearance
What if they were in your shoes – they wouldn’t be engorged in ignorance
Oh, stop pushing my buttons, you bothersome fly
Oh, stop harassing me…about how I look or how I feel
It’s not a big deal…so chill out! It’s no big deal!
Things are out of my control
So, stop acting like a fool…
Pieces upon pieces of your heart
Collapse on the cold, cold cobblestone
Mellow down – you’re on a good start
Run that race with victory close at hand – until you score
First place! That would make me cheer more and more
Shrouds of light sparkle in your aqua-blue eyes
I see your eye’s reflection like a mirror, replicating my own
Heal me, Lord – heal my infection or I’ll remain all alone
You’re my only hope
You’re my answers to my countless prayers

Don’t desert me, I beg! Be decent tonight
I’m like a boss…is this event gonna cost?
$ Money has to be in the conversation $ - it’s just not right
Tonight on this splendid night, I want a Shirley temple
With 7 cherries on the top – my lucky number fits the occasion
We all have issues to solve one way or another…it isn't easy!

I enjoyed every moment of our evening…we are fine pairs like two dolphins, jumping playfully like waves in the reckless ocean
“Don’t let your voice go to waste” – one person said to me a while ago
I’m amazed by your many compliments, aiming at me in a friendly approach
I’m not throwing any fit – I feel that love surrounds me from all angles
The moon attracts my eyesight…you glisten in the murky night
I always have a great time…with you swinging on by
Give me your fortifying love and I’ll have the attitude of gratitude for as long as I live

You're my spine that keeps me upright
You awaken the courage and positivity that I couldn't find alone
Thank you, God, for your divine flight!
Reveal to me your shrouds of light,
Filling my cup to the brim…
I sip the sweet nectar of delight

His prudence will uplift her and him!
