Notes About The Poem

Seven By Seven Poetry Contest Sponsor Nette Onclaud  (Dated Written 4-15-2026)

Shroud Of Dusk

Whilst the sun slowly sinks
Beneath the snow-capped mountains
Dark-rimmed clouds drift high above
Red-orange skies shroud the sky
V-shaped geese honking afar
Darkness creeps on mirrored lakes
Gold eyes wink as dusk sets in
