Show me how I take everything that you have given me and wasted it You take nothing but give more love when I needed it I take time to understand but find there is no understanding only to swim in it You take a world to your bosom and we suckle it dry feeding off it I take a new day as if it was my first and last as you wanted it You gave us task and we made concrete roads with it I see devastation and I only ask for forgiveness for it You tried so hard to make us humane but we are animals fated to it I want to see through the looking glass but all I see is life and death to it You are the question and we are the answers to all of it I am you and yet I cannot teach it
