Shouldve Known Better
i thought that we could make it work,
you acted like you were changing,
but i shouldve known better.
you told me you were ready to get serious,
and that you had grown up and matured,
but i shouldve known better.
i gave you my trust and my heart,
i made you my everything,
but i shouldve known better.
i believed in you when you just lied,
i stayed with you when you just cheated,
but i shouldve known better.
now im letting go,
cause i cant hold on anymore,
i shouldve known better that to fall for you.
