Should I Wave Or Not

This little rhyme is of a simple sort
it has no hidden meanings or pioneering thoughts
it is of daily interactions and about our every day gig
to smile and wave and act like were all just a bunch of kin
It is about you and me and the life we used to live
The life we live now and the one that has yet to begin
classes, parties, and everything of the sort we should have known it would come to this
day
were we would just put our heads down and look the other way
We might have once hugged or even took out our phones
exchanged numbers and talked with one-another about were we can find each-others
homes
does it seem natural or must we remorse
that that chick down the hall is now just of the everyday sort
no more giggles or friendly hellos
Ill just pretend I didn't see you and go go go
