I should have known...
  that it was too good to be true
I should have known...
  that I'd eventually want more from you
More time...more conversation
More kisses...more penetration
I should have known...
  better than to fantasize
I should have known...
  that we held no future, according to your eyes
I should have known...
  but I was too busy walking blind
Now, I'm left in the dark, with your love slowly leaving me behind
