Shooting Stars

Don’t be afraid of shooting stars
When they light up the night
But you can wonder what they are
Or wish you may or might

Don’t be afraid of shooting stars
They cannot hurt you, dear
They’re zipping, zooming way too far
To ever reach you here

Don’t be afraid of shooting stars
When you’re shooting for the moon
For even if you miss your mark
You’ll be among them soon.
