Shoes of Jews

These shoes shows how shameful
It is to be in a world that is wicked and woeful,
This leathers lends volume to the voices
Of the kids and king in a land of shattered choices.

Shoes of souls that were starved to death,
Leathers of ladies who squeezed their strength
To survive in the terrain of thorns and thistles;
Oh! How could they have made it in those cruel castles?

Shoes of Jews who were killed like ewes,
For the art world, they are now like muse,
Auschwitz crushed their colors with cruelty;
This story could not have been a novelty.
