The first haiku draws me to my studies of poor ole Christopher Columbus...He ticked off his crew so much that, after they were shipwrecked, they ditched him and went on their merry way! Even tho the second is to relate to the first,.. I separated them in my imagination...the second one is what keeps me driving to the coast to cleanse my soul every few years...memories formed of Florida sunsets are medicine for my soul! Enjoyed, Russell. Gwendolen
