Shipwrecked

Shipwrecked

A great poet
I'm probably not
A brilliant writer
The same response
My own best Critic
the job I've got
Yet the words float
to the surface
In my mind's cesspool
Of self doubt
My fingers swim
Tapping buoyant words
Flotsam and jetsam
That survived
my shipwrecked thoughts.
