Ship

A ship sailing in the water
smoother than a porcelain tile
Is it facing the right direction?
Or going astray all this while?

A ship sailing in the water
turning rough with a smile
Is it really full of affection?
Or is it dirty like the Nile?

A ship sailing in the water
becoming dangerous and vile
Is it just full of perfection?
Or has it become hostile?

A ship sailing in the water
about to crash on the isle
Is there a chance of correction?
Or has it failed the trial?

A ship stranded on land
broken, crushed, diminished
It really needed a hand
But now, quest unfinished

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.

I like the refrain being at the start of each stanza, nice!
