Shining Stars
Step by step we walk the wire
elevations are high to which we aspire
eyes see life's illusion so straight and true
till the burdens added eclipse that view
adjustments made we stay on track
death through wars you can't go back
can we win without someone to blame
in the circle of life we all live with shame
a glow in the darkness a shining star
children's voices echo from near and far
a smile from one leaves insanity disturbed
a relief from burdens in a land that's absurd
insanity, unbalance we can keep them at bay
help and encourage our treasure's today
children are the wealth in this absurd land
Hope you realize this before deaths at hand
A final thought or "coup de gras"
death is the thief of all shining stars
