Shining Preface
Deep blue turbulent waves roll across the bay
Cold wind forms white caps on this sunny day
Moving all across the water’s surface
As if all of this, is just a shining preface
Remnants of fall last in brown leaves flying around
What is coming with winter is yet to be found
But, I found you in my spirit and mind
Shining beyond anything that I may find
Within a million flakes of sparkling snow
My heart is warmed by what it is you know
All the cold wind cannot blow away
The love in my heart that is here to stay
