Shiney Covers, Worn Pages

A silent cry never heard, a tear shed without a single word, You'll only see her smile. A fragile heart filled with scars, bruised and beaten and Simply marred. You'll only see her smile. Shadows and nightmares consume her thoughts, the demons prey her soul is lost. You'll only see her smile. Stitched together with Lies and sweet words, a silvertongued devil to try and sooth the burns. You'll only see her smile. Behind the color of her eyes lies the inner pain disguised, bury the hurt deep inside. You'll only see her smile. Only bent but never broken, softer words never spoken. You'll only see her smile.
