Shine Like the Moon

My feet were tired and torn, stumbling endlessly Despair and emptiness, the heart and soul of me Wondering everyday, should I even be? So cold and alone, no hope could I see. In that darkest hour I began to cry "If there's more to life, please give me a sign." Then I saw the moon, hanging low and bright A beautiful ray of hope, reflected in the night. Looking at the sun, I know what I see Light and warmth and life, shining constantly Even in the darkest night, I know it's still there Reflected off the moon as I stop and stare. Now, there's another Son, He lives inside of me Light and warmth and Life, shining constantly Even in the darkest night, others see Him there Reflected off my heart, as His Light I share! Let me shine like the moon, reflecting Jesus' Glory Let me shine like the moon, proclaiming Jesus' Story Let me shine like the moon, shine like the moon, Let me shine, let me shine, like the moon.
