Shine Like a Star

The light of a thousand suns shines within”

We strive and spar, without knowing who we are
and twirled by thoughts, we’ve drifted afar,
whilst if we pause for a while
free from ego’s guile,
like yonder
star
and ponder
upon our life style,
though we’ve trudged many a mile,
enslaved by mind, soul’s blackened like tar.
We strive and spar, without knowing who we are.

Deserves recognition but PS admins probably don’t want to stray from the well trodden conventional path.
