Shine

Shine

Let me rest my head on your shoulder.
Wrap me up, keep me warm.
It's getting colder.
Carry me through this storm.

I'm ready.
I'm waiting.
It took me too long to get here.
Hold me steady.
The answer will appear loud and clear.

The future unfolds when we're ready for what it holds.
The pieces fit when time declares that this is it.
Hence, the value of patience.

I'm ready.
I'm waiting.
It took me too long to get here.
Hold me steady.
The answer will appear loud and clear.

The storm is fierce.
Yet the sun will shine again,
Waiting for something to pierce.
Waiting to redeem its men.

I'm ready.
I'm waiting.
It took me too long to get here.
Hold me steady.
The answer will appear loud and clear.

We must be willing to shine.
