Shine

There are bushel baskets everywhere.
Trying to hide what we should share.
All we could do if we would dare… So just
Look inside, don’t try to hide
Step up… Step out… Cross the line.
There’s a part of each human heart
	That’s linked to something divine
	And longs to shine.

Don’t pull the curtains ‘cross your mind.
Fool yourself in thinking you are blind.
You never know what you may find…. If you
Look inside, don’t try to hide
Step up… Step out… Cross the line.
There’s a part of each human heart
	That’s linked to something divine
	And longs to shine.

It only takes a little spark
To set a blaze inside a heart.
Perhaps it’s time to make a start… So just
Look inside, don’t try to hide
Step up… Step out… Cross the line.
There’s a part of each human heart
	That’s linked to something divine
	And longs to shine.

Don’t fear the shadows or the shade.
Come the dawn they’re only going to fade.
Then we will see what we have made… When we
Look inside, don’t try to hide
Step up… Step out… Cross the line.
There’s a part of each human heart
	That’s linked to something divine
	And longs to shine.

We’re called to be a light.
A candle burning bright
Or stars out in the night
So shine with all your might!
