Shifting

So many thoughts running through the brain
They are hard to train
So they run free
Shifting so fast their hard too see
Wonder why
Think on the questions I do Try
Can't sleep
I'm in so deep
It is all the same
This mind frame
The questions are to blame
The need to know
All that life has to show
A mind full of useless knowledge floating around
Head starts to pound
Wondering why and how
Never in the here and now
Lost in the questions I ask
My task
Curiosity killed the cat
Who thought the answers came out of a hat
So there he sat
Wondering why
Maybe I shouldn't try
Question that you can't answer
Eats at you like a cancer
Won't let go
Cause you have to know
Why is this so
Lost in thought
Lessons taught
Does knowledge really grow
Or just more questions does it sow
