Shift

Shift

I finally manage to turn my head away
From the noise, the dirt,
And decay,
The ghosts who are no more there
My judge causing separation and hurt
And just loves to compare.
And now I can understand, when you say
“Live this moment,
Live this day
As if it were your last,
Only then will you know
That there is no future or past.
And like Van Gogh:
Always continue to create
And not care
What some people say -
Even if they hate,
Ridicule, negate
And fearfully glare.
Or if You are accepted,
Ignored, seen…
Or rejected.
And then you can reclaim the treasures
You hid when you were fourteen
And had completely forgotten and neglected”.
