She's Still My Blushing Bride

How does one describe perfection Guess it's all in the eye of the beholder Well this beholder sure doesn't mind holding Her charms with her head on my shoulder Was watching this charmer from across the room Wanting badly to walk over and ask her “I'd be honoured to have the next dance milady” She appeared very shy and demure She lowered her eyes and answered quite softly “I'd be honoured to accept your request” Almost swallowed my dentures and blushed Felt like my heart jumped out of my cheat Taking her hand as we walked to the floor Pulled her sweet body close to mine Always wondered what the feeling would be like It was exquisite and oh so divine A moment in time that's lingered forever What a feeling, so difficult to describe Still watching this charmer from across the room Thirty years, she's been my blushing bride! © Jack Ellison 2015

Oh Jack, I was so in the moment watching in my mind the two of you in this dreamy scene. So romantic...She, a dainty young lady and you a dashing young man...Oh but the dreamy scene went up in smoke with that "almost swallowed my dentures"! But all's well that ends well. As always you get a seven! Hugs and smiles for you two. Kim :D

Dragon wants to learn how to dance now. So he can dance with Lady Cathie... Uh... Not to worry. Dragon's no competition. He keeps stepping on my toes, and lighting my hair afire. So we tried the more modern dances that give a little distance. His tail kicked in and knocked everybody down. I can hosestly say Dragon dancing belongs in the great outdoors... and hopefully far away! Well... I told him it's the thought that counts so in the end... He's sending out Valentines Day cards instead!

Don't worry... He's to young for that. He just wants to do what Santa Jack does. The only kisses would be made of candy, and he would still expect everyone to give them to him... And he'd enjoy a baby smooch on the top of his head... When he shows her his blinged out blankie.
