She's Only Lonely

She was so lonely it touched her soul At night when the lights were out All she could do was toss and turn Thinking of what might have been The days dragged and the world was dull Happiness was gone since he was gone The last whispered words linger “I love you and I will see you again.” © Paul Warren Poetry
