She's Long Gone

She said she loved me
Didn't take long for her to flee
Somehow I didn't see
That she will never miss me

I was husband number nine
Said she loved me all the time
Now it all seems so funny
She's long gone with all my money

I finally learned my lesson when
My best friend is now husband ten
And I'll bet it wont take long
Until she and his money are long gone

But he won't listen to me
That woman is all he can see
He said this wasn't his first rodeo
She can't fool him don't you know

She would bankrupt him and then beg for forgiveness. he died penniless
