She's Gone For the Day

SHE'S GONE FOR THE DAY
You could see the look in her eyes
why'd you look away too soon?
Now you realize
that she's gone for the day
and before you could say something to her.

You could read her life in her eyes
why'd you look away too soon?
Now you realize that she's gone for the day
and before you could say something to her.

Time how it flies! How it flies!
She was gone, before you realized!

You could have the love in her eyes
But you look away too soon
Then you realize that she's gone for the day
and before you could say something to her.

Time slips away, slips away.
She'll be gone before you think of anything to say.

You could have the love in her eyes
But you look away too soon
Then you realize that she's gone for the day
and before you could say something to her.

Yeh she's gone for the day
and before you could say something to her.
