She's Finally At Peace

Never once, did she complain
She was always happy
Joked around and had fun
Very rarely was she crabby

Sat in her wheelchair
Day after day
Found out she had cancer
Wondered how much longer she'd stay

She fought everyday
Until she passed away
Now she's in a better place
For angel took her to heaven to stay

She will be missed
By family and friends, too
Now no longer in pain
Because it's finally through.

I can relate to this so much as my father is terminally ill with cancer - he too is positive and smiling. I am so sorry for your loss. (line 4 should be 'was' i will remove this bit when you have amended it) Hugs Jan xxx
