Shelter

I like your name
It’s pleasing to say
A passion aflame
Concealed by your way

Incredibly tranquil
You sit very still
Makes me feel peaceful
Gives me a thrill

You turn your head slowly
And take it all in
My reluctant fancy
Of what lies within

Dark circles below
Deep ocean above
My desire to know
Your reception of love

Twinkle at twilight
Post heat of the day
A whisper of I might
Your tantalizing sway

Little black dress
Clings to your skin
Sweat and caress
Before we begin

Inferno inside me
The love of my life
To shelter I flee
Rush home to my wife
