She Wears His Name

she wears his name
but calls mine
she called him "my love"
but said i'm "fine"
in fact me and him
shared the same places
i often wonder
if she intermingles our faces
don't get me wrong
i know we all have a past
but because he was first
doesn't mean i'm last
my blood flows through veins
as real as your own
my heart still yearns
for our happy home
i know pain is life
and life is pain
but i know in my heart
you should wear my #@$!%! name

Great writing, Brian. Love the torment you express so well. Wish life did not have to bring such pain. Indeed, she should be wearing your name! It is rare to find a love so passionate and true. Bravo, Brian!
