She Watched Her Mother Die

There was a little girl
who lived in a broken home
her parents never there she was left alone

sometimes she'd see
her mommy and daddy fight
but one day it went too far
her mommy wasn't alright

her daddy slammed her mother
up against the wall
grabbed a knife and stabbed her
her mommy began to fall

her daddy took the knife
after stabbing, slit her throat
after a few days this is what the
little girl wrote

Dear Diary,
mommy's not here right now
daddy made her go
Mommy's in heaven watching
down on me, daddy told me so

mommy didn't even say goodbye
she just fell to the floor
i tried to wake her up
but she couldn't hear me anymore

i know she's watching over me
every step i take
but i know it was all my fault
being here was my mistake.

If mommy never had me,
she'd still be here today
daddy never wanted me so
he made her go away

maybe if I'm good
mommy will come back home,
because daddy's not here anymore
and i am all alone.
