She Was Easy To Love
Here in his baroque library just so
He ignored the cacophony below.
Did the ennui he felt show in his face
Or did the faux elan show in its place?
He thought of the dilettante he had met.
She from the avant-garde populous set.
An anomaly that did not fit here -
He gave her his heart carte blanche without fear.
No deja vu came forth as in the past.
He smiled, could this be the love that would last?
