She Was Crying I Was Crying

she was crying desperately
i didn’t ask why she cries
i cried with her though i don’t know why i have to cry

the time elapsed as such:
with waning moon and dimming starlight

my transient thought also passed as they go

although the lady who was crying so desperately
by my side is long gone
i alone sit by a riverbank cry
watching my own shadow thrown to the water
drifts away as water flows to abyss

the passing wind stops for a while and cries with me
tapping my back to comfort this crying soul
