She Was a Giraffe Tamer

I am a giraffe tamer she bragged.
We laughed, knowing they rarely need taming.
I can beat you at any game or sport she said.
That’s when I lied and said I am never gaming.

I am an antelope rider, she told me.
I decided to stay away from her after that day.
She was stuck up and braggadocio
In every wrong kind of way.

Yep, best to just stay away from those sorts. We had a girl like that in my high school. I have often wondered what became of her.
