She Wants to talk on the Phone Daily

Every day my friend wants to talk on the phone
she’s eating food, she’s taking a walk, alone
I suggest social media to her, loud and clear
where boring stuff and nonsense can easily appear

I don’t believe in that, she tells me
She holds me hostage for an hour and three
Too many minutes, you will probably readily agree
Talk to you tomorrow, she says, her last words to me
