She Saw It But
An angel came down and gave her a wink.
Astounded she did not know what to think
She saw it but she did not believe
A voice came clearly into her sleep mind
In her sleep state her Daddy she did find
She saw it but she did not believe
Are you going crazy? Are you quite mad?
Asked the apparition that was her dad.
She saw it but she did not believe
Eyes popped open and her heart beat wild
Dad was there. He said I love you child.
She saw it but she did not believe
But he could see that he had scared her now
He disappeared with a tiny sad bow
She saw it but she did not believe
She had just had a visitation dream
As smooth as silk and as tasty as cream
She saw it but she did not believe
