She Never Watches the Evening News
she put blinders on so she would not see
bullying, sarcasm or hypocrisy
wanting to keep her optimism high
she left negativity for another guy
Much easier now to stay upbeat
her life is better, a bit more sweet
she never watches the evening news
It might bring her mood down from ten to two
