She married
a postman
a good man
who comes
and goes
with good news
and bad
wedding invitations
and funerals
hiring letters
and pink slips
lottery winners
and eviction notices
my dog hates him
barks nonstop when he turns
the corner
and i keep saying
stop it
hate the message sender
not the messenger
this guy
is a good man
that's why she married him
not because he's a genius
all he does
going from point A
to point B
things in this world
don't work like this
big head
too smart
she married him
because of the
big heart...
