She Made Her Own Rules

She often had an audience to perplex
Her magical act causing applause
Never one to bow or genuflect
Or read any missive to its smallest clause
She made her own rules, created her own laws

Very cool poem, Caren. Love the independent attitude ... so long as she abide by her own rules. Top-notch free-thinker poetry. Love and hugs forever.

I like a woman who lives by her own laws but is kind to others, love your poetry today as always, xo

I think the main law should be - be kind to others. But the one women often forget is - be kind to YOURSELF.

its the feature of the heroes, they perplex audience, abide nothing, no one to bow down or read any missive but can they ignore time? The rules of God. One day all the arrogance run down over time. But it is true heroes never die. They are great by their own. Nice realization and the writing sir. Wishing all the best. With regards. sk.

I can't say I create my own laws... I want to go by God's law, but fail sometimes.... but love your poem... Best and love, Gina

Aha, but there are inner "laws" that we know are from God, right Gina?
